This policy explains what information this website and phone line collect, how that information is used, and who it is shared with. Please read the section on sharing carefully, because connecting you with a pest control contractor necessarily means passing your information to that contractor.

Who we are

goodguysexterminators.com is owned and operated by Nerd Group LLC, a Nevada limited liability company. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean Nerd Group LLC.

The site operates under the name Local Exterminators. We are not a pest control company and we do not perform treatments. We connect homeowners by telephone with independent pest control contractors who work in their area.

1. Information we collect

When you call

Calls to the number on this site are routed through a call tracking service. When you call, we or our service providers may collect your telephone number, including Caller ID information, the date, time and duration of the call, the page or source that led you to call, and your general location at the city or area code level.

Calls may be monitored or recorded for quality, training and record keeping, by us, by our call routing providers, or by the contractor your call is connected to. If you do not wish to be recorded, please say so at the start of the call or end the call.

You may also give us information directly during the call, such as your name, the address where service is needed, and a description of the pest problem.

When you use a form on this site

There are currently no forms on this website. The only way to reach this service is by telephone. This section describes what would apply if web based service request forms are added in future, so you know in advance.

If such a form is added, it would collect the information you type into it, which would typically include your name, telephone number, email address, the service address, the type of pest problem, and any scheduling preference or notes you provide. It would be used and shared on the same basis as information given on a call, as described below.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, this one collects certain technical information automatically when you visit. That includes your IP address, browser type and version, device type and screen size, operating system, the pages you view and how long you spend on them, the site or search that referred you, and your approximate location derived from your IP address.

This is collected using cookies and similar technologies through two services:

Google Analytics 4, operated by Google, which we use to understand how visitors find and move through the site.
StatCounter, which we use for basic visitor statistics.

Both set cookies in your browser. Each operates under its own privacy policy, and information collected through them is held by those providers as well as by us.

2. How we use information

We use the information described above to:

connect your call with a pest control contractor serving your area
pass on the details needed for that contractor to contact you and arrange service
operate, maintain and improve this website and the phone line
understand which pages and which areas generate calls, so we know what to publish
detect and prevent fraud, abuse and technical problems
keep records and comply with legal obligations

3. How we share and disclose information, including sale

This is a referral business. When you call, your information is passed to one or more independent pest control contractors so they can contact you about service. That transfer may be treated as a sale or sharing of personal information under some state privacy laws, and you should assume it is.

We share information with:

Pest control contractors. The contractor your call is routed to receives your telephone number and the details you provide. Once they have it, they handle it under their own privacy practices, which we do not control.
Call routing and tracking providers, who operate the phone number and connect your call.
Analytics providers, as described above.
Hosting and technical providers who operate this website.
Legal and safety recipients, where disclosure is required by law, subpoena or court order, or is necessary to protect rights, property or safety.
A successor, in the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

4. Telephone and text message contact

When you call the number on this site, you are asking to be connected with a contractor, and you should expect that contractor to call or text you back about your request.

If web based forms are added in future, submitting one would constitute your express written consent to be contacted at the telephone number you provide by us and by the contractors we connect you with, including by automatic telephone dialing system, artificial or prerecorded voice, and SMS text message, about your service request. That consent would not be a condition of purchasing anything.

You can withdraw consent at any time. Ask the caller to place you on their internal do not call list, reply STOP to any text message, or contact us using the details in section 8. Message and data rates may apply. We cannot withdraw consent on behalf of a contractor you have already been connected with, so you may need to tell them directly as well.

5. Cookies and your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Blocking cookies will not stop you using this site or calling the number, because nothing on this site requires them to work.

Google provides a browser add-on that prevents Google Analytics from collecting data, available from Google directly. Most browsers also offer a Do Not Track setting; there is no common standard for how sites should respond to it, and this site does not currently respond to it.

6. Your privacy rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas and a growing number of other states have rights over their personal information. Depending on where you live, these may include the right to:

receive a copy of that information
have that information corrected or deleted

To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, or to make any other request, use the contact details in section 8. We will verify your request, which usually means confirming the telephone number you called from, and respond within the time required by your state's law.

An authorised agent may make a request on your behalf with written proof of authorisation.

7. Other important points

Children

This site is intended for adults arranging service for a property. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described here and to meet legal and record keeping requirements.

Third party sites

This policy covers this website and phone line only. Contractors, and any other site you reach from here, operate under their own policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed, and continued use of the site after that date means you accept the updated policy.
